„LA is one of the most significant automobile shows in America so from our standpoint that’s why we wanted to take a vehicle that’s so critical to our dealers to our customers and for us, to use this platform as our opportunity to reveal it today.”

“We tried really hard to be as close to our customers as we can and what they were telling us for the past several years is: We love your RX, but can’t you bring it to market with a third row as well as just a two row. So with that input, with the feedback from our dealers that hear the same thing from their customers, it was: Please, can’t you add a third row. So that was all of this background that brought us to this day.”

“We will have a normally aspirated 3.5 Liter V6 290hp. There will also be a 3.5 Liter V6 Hybrid which actually has a total output of about 308 hp. So that will be the two powertrains.”

“Right now we’re the luxury leader, which we’ve been in 16 and 15. It’s really, really competitive, it’s very close races here. But none of us wake up to finish second or third place, nor do our competitors wake up to finish somewhere in second or third. So it will continue to be a real horse race going down in the end of the year, but we’re in it for the win.”
